Gala Coral Group is one of Europe's Pre-Eminent Betting and Gaming Businesses with strong market positions and well established brands both on the High Street and Online.

Engagement Areas:

Due to a move from a Group to a Divisional Structure in readiness-for-sale, our Managing Director Kevin Donohoe was employed to carry out an evaluation of all the Group suppliers. This evaluation resulted in the need to separate 200+ supplier contracts into individual business unit supplier contracts. Kevin was able to successfully separate the contracts at no additional cost to the overall group despite the loss of economies of scale.

Engagement Areas:

As part of the Consensus Client Contract review service, Link Integrated engaged Consensus to review potential contracts with a major client in the utilities sector. Consensus have carried out multiple reviews of these potential client contracts producing detailed reports identifying onerous terms and areas for negotiation. As a result of these reviews carried out by Consensus, Link Integrated have been able to negotiate better terms with their clients.

Gala Retail is the UK's largest bingo operator, running 135 clubs from Peterhead to Plymouth. Handling close to 16 million visits a year from over one million members, each and every one of the 4,100 Gala Retail colleagues are focused on delivering the best buzz in Bingo, every day.

Engagement Areas:

In conjunction with Just One in a Crowd, Consensus were engaged to carry out a review of a major long-term supply contract to Gala Bingo. The contract, with a major Gaming provider, was no longer fit for purpose and along with major changes in legislation, there was a requirement to transform the service. The resulting transformation led to an insourcing of resource, a redefinition of service level agreements, and a re-negotiation of the value of the contract resulting in a £1million per annum saving.


London Stock Exchange

London Stock Exchange Group (LSE.L) is an international markets infrastructure business. Its diversified global business focuses on capital formation, intellectual property and risk and balance sheet management. The Group operates a broad range of international equity, ETF, bond and derivatives markets, including London Stock Exchange; Borsa Italiana; MTS (Europe's leading fixed income market); LCH.Clearnet, FTSE Russell and Turquoise (a pan-European equities MTF)

Engagement Areas:

Consensus were engaged to assist the London Stock Exchange Group in novating their IT Contracts to a new Group IT Shared Service. The engagement resulted in the successful novation of 300+ contracts across 140 suppliers.


Lady Bay Preschool

Lady Bay Pre-School is based in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire and was established in 1968. They provide high quality care to children from 2 to 5 years old.

Engagement Areas:

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, Consensus have been engaged with the Lady Bay Pre-School in an on-going capacity for the last two years. Our Finance Director Dr. Laura Donohoe has been the Treasurer and Trustee of the Pre-School, whilst our MD, Kevin Donohoe, has been engaged to give contractual advise to the Pre-Scholl specifically around a new Premises Rental Agreement.
